serving all of South carolina and colorado virtually
this might sound familiar
you second-guess your reactions — replaying conversations, wondering if you’re being “too sensitive,” or asking yourself if you’re making a bigger deal out of things than you should.
You feel dissociated or on edge often, even when things look “fine” from the outside.
You feel obligated and required to keep things calm — smoothing things over, holding it together, or setting your own needs aside so nothing blows up.
You’re carrying a lot quietly — past experiences, family stuff, or relationship stress — and sometimes it’s hard to explain why it still feels so present.
You notice the same patterns showing up in your relationships, or feel stuck between wanting closeness and needing space.
your story may include sexual abuse or assault, complicated family relationships, or loving someone whose struggles have shaped you more than you expected.
You’re tired of trying to make sense of all of this on your own.
therapy here isn’t about fixing you or pushing you into things before you’re ready. it’s a steady, collaborative space where we slow things down and get curious about what your mind and body have been carrying — without rushing or forcing anything. you don’t need the right words or a clear plan. We start where you are.
what therapy looks like with me
in our work together, you can expect:
someone who understands the urge to share everything all at once
a lot of attention to pacing and safety, creating a space where you can finally exhale
to feel respected, listened to, and guided rather than analyzed, judged, or fixed
support that works with your body and nervous system, not just your thoughts
room for confusion, mixed and conflicting feelings, and not having it all figured out
after sessions, there is often a feeling of release, like something heavy has been set down.
when you don’t trust your reactions anymore
You might be carrying the weight of something from your past, or something that’s still happening in your family or relationships. For a lot of young adults, trauma doesn’t always look dramatic or obvious — it shows up as feeling on edge, worn down, or not trusting yourself the way you used to. You might second-guess your reactions, wonder if you’re “overreacting,” or feel stuck in your head trying to make sense of why certain things hit so hard.
If your lived experience includes a history of complicated relationships (family or otherwisE), sexual abuse or assault, or the impact of loving someone who struggles with addiction, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to sort it out by yourself.
meet Faith —
i’m your trauma therapist in greenville, sc
I help young adults make sense of overwhelming experiences and begin to feel safer in their own lives again — especially when they’ve spent a long time holding things together or doubting their reactions and experiences.
My approach is warm, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I’m more interested in curiosity than judgment (even when it’s hard!), and I prioritize going at a pace that feels respectful of what you’ve been through.
In our work together, we’ll look at how your experiences have shaped your emotions, relationships, and nervous system — and build tools that help you feel steadier and more connected, not just get through the day on autopilot.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes the first step is simply knowing you don’t want to keep feeling this way.
specialties & how I can help
most people won’t fit into a single box here — and that’s okay. we can figure things out together.
-
trauma therapy for young adults
A lot of young adults come to therapy saying, “Nothing terrible happened… but something still feels off.” You might be used to holding things together, staying on guard, or managing your reactions so nothing blows up. I help young adults make sense of where those patterns came from and how to soften them — without pressure to have answers or know exactly where to start.
-
relationship and attachment struggles
You might notice the same patterns showing up in your relationships — overthinking, people-pleasing, pulling away, or feeling like you’re too much or not enough. I work with young adults who want to understand where these patterns come from and build relationships that feel steadier and less exhausting.
-
loving someone in addiction
Loving someone who struggles with addiction can be exhausting and confusing — especially when so much attention goes to them, and very little to how this has affected you. You may have spent a long time managing crises or putting your own needs on the back burner. I work with young adults who want space to focus on their own experience, understand how addiction has shaped them, and find ways to care for and protect themselves without guilt.
-
therapy for sexual trauma
If sexual trauma is part of your story, you might notice it still showing up — in your body, your relationships, or how you see yourself — even if it happened a long time ago. I support young adults in making sense of these effects and feeling safer again, without pressure to explain, justify, or relive what happened.
after I reach out, what happens next?
If you’re unsure about therapy, that’s okay. Many people reach out before they feel ready or certain — and clicking a button doesn’t commit you to anything.
If you do reach out, we’ll start with a simple conversation about what’s been going on and what you’re hoping for. You’ll have space to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether it feels like a good fit. We can go from there, at a pace that feels manageable.

I work with adults across south carolina and colorado who are navigating trauma, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients are healing from perfectionism or people-pleasing, or untangling the long-term effects of growing up in chaotic or emotionally confusing families. I also support loved ones of people struggling with addiction, especially those trying to sort out boundaries, guilt, and nervous system overload.
my space is fully affirming. I welcome lgbtq+ folks, bipoc clients, and anyone looking for a therapist who understands how identity and lived experience shape our emotional world. if you need a place where you don’t have to shrink, explain yourself, or translate your humanity… i’ve got you.
-
a typical session with me is calm, collaborative, and centered on what your nervous system needs that day. we’ll start by settling in and checking in — what’s showing up emotionally or physically, and what feels most pressing or tender right now?
some days you may feel ready for deeper trauma work, like EMDR or parts work. other days might be more about understanding your emotions, navigating triggers, grounding your body, or simply having someone sit with you in the hard stuff.
there’s no pressure to have the perfect words or a plan. your only job is to show up as you are, and i’ll help guide the rest.
